Parkinson's is neurodegenerative disorder of the brain that affects how our muscles move. It can cause shaking or tremors and make it difficult for people to move quickly. Many people with Parkinsons note that their arms and legs are stiff and rigid. They may even have trouble with balance. Often the first signs are very slight involuntary movements of the head and hands.
